FlyInk.Vario / Flight Computer
Read the sky.Not the screen.
80 grams, and you can actually read it in full sun. GPS, baro and airspace are built in, the battery lasts all day, and it’s small enough you’ll forget it’s on your riser.

// Why pilots pick it
Built for the things that actually matter in the air.
-
Readable in the sun
A 2.7-inch E-Ink display. The brighter it gets outside, the sharper it reads. No glare. No washed-out LCD.
-
18 hours, one charge
A 1800 mAh cell powers a full day of flying with margin to spare. E-Ink only draws power when the screen changes.
-
Airspace on the map
Drop an airspace.txt (XCSoar or XCTrack format) on the microSD. Restricted zones, corridors and CTRs appear right on the map.
-
80 grams. Pocket-sized.
51 × 92 × 17 mm. Smaller than a deck of cards, lighter than your sunglasses. Velcro it to the riser and forget it.
// What you see on the display
Three screens.
Variometer, Map, Settings. Cycle with the side buttons. Hold FN to edit any value. That’s the entire UI.

“I run a Skytraxx at home and a FlyInk in the side pocket. The Vario is faster to read in midday sun. Honestly didn’t expect that.”
Tomás R. · XC pilot · Spain -

“Simple enough that after two flights I stopped fiddling and just flew. Battery survived a long weekend in Bovec without a charge.”
Marta K. · Beginner · Slovenia -

“The fuel-used estimate is the killer feature for paramotor. I set my Moster’s L/h once and forget about the math.”
Jens H. · Paramotor · Germany
01 Does it work without a phone or any subscription?
Yes. FlyInk.Vario is fully standalone: built-in GPS, barometer and storage. No app, no account, no monthly fee.
02 Is it legal for cross-country flights?
It is a pilot aid, not a certified instrument. You stay responsible for navigation and airspace. The airspace map gives you a visual reference, but always check your local regulations.
03 How do I update the airspaces?
Pop out the microSD, drop a new airspace.txt file (XCSoar or XCTrack format) into the root of the card, plug it back in. The map redraws automatically.
04 How long does shipping take?
We dispatch from the EU within 48 hours. Tracked delivery typically arrives in 3–5 business days across the EU and 5–7 days to the UK.
05 Can I return it?
14-day no-questions return on unused units. If something fails within 1 year, we repair or replace it under warranty.
06 Does it record my tracks?
Yes. Every flight is saved on the microSD card as a standard IGC-compatible log. Import into XCTrack, ayvri, or your favorite analyzer.
